Red Chili Chengdu Cuisine 成都风味: Reviews & Ratings
The people here are so nice and the music and decorations are beautiful. The food comes out fast and the food is fresh. Get the MA PO TOFU and get the braised beef noodle soup the meat is tender and the soup is tasty.
Delicious “quick bite” Szechuan Chinese food with smaller portions (but decent size plates) so you can order more things to satisfy multiple cravings. Quick service for to go (saw a bunch of people taking out for lunch) or eat it in the spacious restaurant. Good prices. My 90 yo Dad is SUPER picky about Chinese food, but he really enjoyed eating there. I liked the spicy diced chicken (like spicy popcorn chicken) and the flash fried fish with chili peppers (crispy and similar, but with thin fish filet pieces). The mapo tofu is tasty. Pan friend dumplings were satisfying and crispy. Kobe Beef Steak is exceptionally tender and flavorful - it’s worth the price. Dad got a big pork bun and the General Tso’s chicken to go (also a testament that he likes the food). The Dan Dan noodle needed some more sesame or peanut taste IMO, but maybe they have adjusted that in the last month (this is a late review from the Soft Opening period). Super friendly owner who is open to feedback. He made our food to order since just opening, but normally you can grab your selections, pay, and eat or go. There are spicy and non-spicy options - the spicy is not overwhelming, and there is chili sauce you can add if you want more fire. I hope they expand the menu in the future. We will be back soon.
Not a bad concept but the execution could be better. We were the only customers when we were there last night. Dishes were just sitting under the warming lamps, so nothing is piping hot, which really affects the taste. Also dishes are a bit too salty. But the service and interior decor are really good.
Love Red Chili, hubby and I go for lunch and order from the dinner menu to ensure leftovers. We order dry chili pepper chicken and pork in hot sauce. Love the spice level! The owner is really nice and accommodating, the food is fresh and hot, the place is comfortable and clean and the service is great! We look forward to trying other menu items next time!
This place was absolutely great! Happen to drive by and saw the large grand opening sign. Came in for dinner to try it and so far everything was fantastic. They have a large variety of dishes to choose from which come in good portion sizes to pick at if you plan on sharing with family/friends. The nice lady at the register mentioned that they just added pork with sliced tofu to the menu, which I also got and it was my #1 favorite :) It’s a cute little place to come stop by to grab some food if you are on your lunch break or want to bring some take out for home. Definitely recommend stopping by and trying it out for yourselves!! P.S. they also come with a free foundation or can drink!!! Love that :)
We got steamed fish w/ soft tofu, pork w/ dry tofu, hot sauce style beef, mapo tofu, and chinese cabbage w/ dry chili pepper. The food was all delicious and well seasoned, sichuan spice is a different kind of heat that is very pleasant and not too overpowering. The service was fantastic, quick and very friendly! Willing to answer questions and give advice. Be aware!! The food is intended to be eaten family style, but the portions are bigger than the prices would make you think! We had a lot of food left over to take home (not a complaint!). It was a little empty when we went, so I hope more people will eat here soon because it was a very nice experience We will definitely be coming often!
First time been here, very satisfied with the food quality and the staff service. At first I was wondering if the food are like American Chinese; but actually not , the one I ordered Sizzling fish fillet and shredded port with dried tofu are the traditional Chinese tasty. Also they offer free drinks. Overall, we are happy about the food, service and atmosphere, will definitely come back and try others . I would highly recommend this restaurant to my family friends !
The food was delicious and fresh! The portions were just right, and everything was well-seasoned. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

What truly stands out at Red Chili Chengdu Cuisine is the balance between tradition and freshness. Customers consistently praise dishes like the Ma Po Tofu, a classic Sichuan staple that arrives perfectly spiced and rich, full of silky tofu in a lively, numbing chili sauce.
